CEL and limp mode no codes

I have recently got a new CEL on my car this is the first time in over a year! I have plugged into my K-pro to check the codes and I got nothing back. I also have a engine light scanner that I plugged in and I didn't get any code off of that either if I go into a data stream it will show one code but if I go to check the codes I says no error codes. So I got old school on the car and jumped the OBD-II Diagnostic port to get blink codes and I received a Code 38? This blink code doesn't amount to anything. I also tried re uploading a calibration, checked my battery and all my grounds. Other than the limp mode the car runs good all the way up to 4000rpm and idles well too. I was leaking towards a V-tec solenoid but I am pretty sure the K-pro would show a code for that, on a side note I am not exactly sure my K-pro is working right when I plug into it and go to display or sensors tab none of the sensor numbers change with the car running or in accessory mode.

Note: I also unplugged the IAC sensor and I got a readable code on my scanner, but when I unplug the Vtec solenoid my scanner will still say no code this is what has lead me to believe it was the solenoid.
My engine is a 2002 K20A2 in a 2002 Civic Si EP3

Just to be clear I bought the car with the K-pro installed already I never had any issues prior to this that I was not able to repair when I first purchased the vehicle the car had an engine light on for the primary 02 sensor and ELD the Kpro was able to tell me both these codes so I repaired them accordingly I have not played with the KPRO at all since then and the car has run amazing.
I do know the Kpro was purchased new from an authorized dealer here in Oakville Ontario Neetronics as the owner had proof of purchase when I bough the car.

That being said I do not know the Serial number, model number etc.

I have also been running on one of the K-pro base maps as I have been constantly made changes to the car over the last year.

I bought the car with the KPRO installed I do not know the part number or the serial number as stated in my first post most of the functions of my K-pro are not working at all other than the fact that I can upload new calibrations so I'm kind of having a hard time getting the required info you requested.

ECU S/N- TBA
ECU P/N- TBA
K-manager version-3.3.1
Cal-base map 310cc injectors K20A2 type r cams header and CAI
data log- my car will not data log because my K pro is not working properly
-Mods CAI, spoon throttle body, spoon cat back exhaust, DC ceramic LTH, Injen Gen 1 CAI, factory NGK spark plugs(bought from Honda), two brand new 02 sensors (bought from Honda), euro spec CTR cams, RBC intake manifold, Hondata IM and TB gaskets- I did my timing chain 8000kms ago used all brand new Honda-tensioner, guides, chain and VTC actuator.

When I did the timing chain the K-pro worked properly and was able to show me engine codes. Now it is not able to show me engine codes and is putting out a code 38 blink code, a code 38 blink code does not exist, I do not have a good known ECU to try and install in my car to see if its the problem. Like I said when I go to the Display Tab in K manager the none of the numbers change ever! My Throttle position stays at zero my RPM stays at 0 my speed stays at 0 nothing changes. The only think that is physically operational on my K-pro is that I can upload alter tune files, I cannot get and live feed or feed back from the K-pro in display or data log. It is stuck in Limp mode at 4000rpm which I have been lead to believe is a Vtec or oil pressure limp mode, I just don't want to sped $150 on a vtec solenoid and find out that doesn't fix the problem.

so there is no serial number on the K-Pro board inside the ecu?

Is that where it is located?

Ok so there is a little scan tag inside ill assume that is the serial number for the K-rpo under the scan tag it says 05006621
It also says Hondata, Inc
Kprog Rev13D
and-E-B 94V-O
4408

The serial number on the side of the actual ECU case is
37820-PNF-A03
2091-300580

I have also like I stated before- checked all the grounds cleaned them with a wire brush so surfaces were clean, checked all my fuses and relays, erased ECU(clear security) and installed a new cal, double checked the ground on the valve cover post, spark plugs are OEM purchased at Honda, checked to make sure none of the screws were to tight on the board causing it to twist, checked all of the pins a connections on the sister board to ensure a good connection nothing bent or broken and checked to make sure my USB cord was installed good and snug. I am still not getting a proper hook up on my K-pro and am stuck in limp mode with an unreadable engine code please advise what I should do now?

I'm trying to source a temporary ECU to use on my car in the mean time as a friend of mine is having the exact same issue with his car and has to send it in to you for repair.

I am not sure as I have never checked but it is connecting to the K-pro because I can Upload tunes and modify them I cannot download the ECU or it give me an error code.

I will check it out when I get home from work tonight!

I got my ECU back from you a couple of days ago after it was repaired. But now my immobilizer does not work, I was told you were just re soldering the bad connections for the K-PRO board so I don't understand why my Immobilizer doesn't work anymore. The car will start with the immobilizer disabled but wont start with the immobilizer enabled it was working fine before I sent the computer in for repair is there something I am missing here?
