broken s300 unit. Trash it?

I screwed myself and I need to purchase a new s300. I had left my ecu on the floor board and at the time it was snowing. My passenger had put their feet on the ecu and i'm guessing it got wet. Is this worth anything more than to be thrown away? It still runs the car but it cuts out over 4k and it will not connect to my laptop.
