I need an RMA number.

Red LED on all the time, solid CEL.

Have tried connecting two different laptops, neither will communicate consistently with ECU.

Updated all drivers, attempted to erase ECU and re-upload new map.

ECU won't take maps, can't download maps, I have read 10+ similar issues as mine and they all end up with an RMA number being issued and the ECU being sent back to hondata for inspection..

It's been working fine for a few years, then the car sat for a few months, battery died, now doesn't run right and ECU won't communicate with laptops.

No sensor data in smanager, was able to 'download' a map off ECU at one point but it appears to be corrupted. I've attached screenshot of what the tables looked like.

CRX
jrsc
b20v
all kinds of other stuff.

NEED TO SEND THIS S300 ECU BACK TO HONDATA SO THEY CAN CHECK IT OUT AND TELL ME IF IT'S FAULTY BECAUSE ALL SIGNS POINT TO BAD ECU.

You're not the only person that is having this problem! Multiple people are having the same issues. I believe it's the firmware but I can't confirm it. After I updated my Hondata the firmware to 2.2.7.0 the same issue occurred to me. I know the newest firmware is 2.2.8.0 but it haven't resolved the issue.

It is not the firmware. It usually is the battery on the older S300s going flat. This often occurs after the car has been sitting for some time without power.

Alright I will have this b!tch in the mail today or tomorrow.

I srsly hope the s300 is having problems because otherwise I wouldn't even know where to start diagnosing this issue. I don't seem to be the only person in this situation though.
