I have an 04 Honda Civic EX with a d17a2 (stock) and a 37820-PND-A04 (base RSX). Do I select a basemap based on my ECU, engine, or both. If both, I don't believe one exists in my installation of KManager (3.3.0). PND calibrations only have K20 basemaps. There is a stock d17 VTEC basemap under PRA vehicle type.

This seems like the type of question I'll get flamed for, but I couldn't find anything searching this forum and the KManager help didn't contain any indication in the installation section.

Choose based on your engine. Look for the d17 calibrations in the drop down in the New Calibraiton window.
