Making sure I wired my PLX wideband correctly

When connecting the wideband output from the PLX module I cut the "ELD" wire going into the ecu. I then connected the wideband output to the eld wire on the ecu side. This leaves the sensor side eld wire disconnected. I read this is how you're supposed to wire it.

When connecting the narrowband output from the PLX module I cut the "primary o2 sensor" wire going into the ecu. I then connected the narrowband output to the primary o2 sensor wire on the ecu side. This leaves the sensor side of the o2 sensor disconnected. My wideband sensor goes directly into the plx. I read nothing about leaving the other side disconnected but I figured I didn't need to connect it.
I have a few more things to take care off, just wanted to get some opinions on whether or not I'll be fine when I'm ready to get the car going again instead of having to troubleshoot some more.
