Password JDM Power Chamber Basemap??

2002 rsx type s
Comptech header
Stock exhaust
Cold air intake
Vtec set at 3500

Will be switching from cold air intake to password jdm this week. What will be my expected results

And Willi have to tweak this basemap or use another?

I think you should only have to tweak the map your using

well heres a datalog of my car running on the toda headers map can u tell me if everything is safe??

you had 8 knocks all together ... and apparently your car hits 86mph at 8000 rpm .. do you have a different final drive in there ? (assuming its the same 6speed manual as euro r we have here ) I wouldn't use that map for now .... you need to log your fueling its a deadline on the data log. once you got that I could adjust your map for you ... keep you pedal 100% down use a safer map till you can get some numbers in your fueling

as far as setup i am running a lightweight 10lb flywheel and 88a super stiff hasport motor mounts

My ep3 type r limits out at 8600 at 84mph just found it weird though rsx had same gearbox yeah I have mounts pretty sure our factory flywheels are 10lbs did u manage to get your air to fuel to log ?

yes tranny is identical as far as i know and no you have stock 10lb flywheel i upgraded to one...and i thought i did but i guess not im new to kpro man so idk

We all got learn somewhere you will pick it up fast as you get on... Here we have to use wideband controller to log our a/f. But I'm sure that I read yours are wideband anyway have a play with settings

is 8 knocks during a 3rd gear WOT pull bad? or acceptable? ive heard average is 7-10 but im not sure. i decided im not gonna rag on her too much until im tuned and running safely...not worth the risk

No I get 0 knock on a 3rd pull, once you can start logging a/f I can get you tuned enough to rag her to bits, I'd use the cold air kal it's the safest map for your for now when u start logging a/f we can build u a map or tune on a existing basemap

ok so why so many when i was just driving normal? and is 1 bad?

also if i go back to the col air kal can i still lower vtec to 3500rpm??

I used to get knock bad on somebody's map I tryed... You can try lower vtec and log for knocks and enable flash mil knock detection on kmanager so your engine light flashes when you get knock aswell... But as soon as u get your a/f you can play with vtec safer

yes i have that feature setup to flash when i have knock...its useful. so what do you need me to do send you another data log?? i like the toda headers map alot since i have headers and an intake im just missing an exhaust

On display tab you should have something that represents a/f thou you may have to set something up to make it read on the kpro in (I'm guessing in settings or parameters ) once you get the kpro to read it you can 3gear pull from 2000 to redline then I can adjust fuel and get it running consistent and safe

o cool wont have the datalog ready till maybe 8pm standard eastern time over here on the east coast of the US. but when i do ill upload it to you and tell me what ya think. once again i appreciate all the help!

btw i have my password jdm powerchamber on there no so no moe cai. its just the powerchamber&my obx/comptech headers&stock exhaust
