s300 datalogging memory test failed

Hi,

i recently got a s300 v2 unit. I just installed the unit. during the start up process for the unit for the USB driver(s) installation, it successfully installed the drivers. After the installation was done, i checked the s300 details for the registration. Unfortunately, i saw that the "Datalogging memory test" has failed and the "Flash memory" is 0 MB. Please refer to screenshot below. What can i do troubleshoot or to resolve the said issue? i was thinking of uninstalling the smanager 2.2.8 and make use of 2.2.7 but i thought i should ask you first. i saw another post regarding this matter but the resolution was unclear. Also i noticed that under the "Software" dropdown, the version is 2.2.4. does that corresponds to the smanager version? i'll be sending an email to support after this post. so let me know what to do and if you need any other details. using obd2a to obd1 conversion harness
s300 s/n: 24775
i'm using smanager version 2.2.8.

Have you registered and tried uploading and using it yet?

You should never go back to an older version of software.

Thanks for the reply. I did try registering, it's like nothing is happening or rather it wont let me for some reason. Actually upon seeing that "failed" tests, registering was the next thing I did. I also tried the test upload but didnt work also.
