My flashpro works fine on my laptop but is not recognized on my windows 8 tablet. I'm using a dell venue 8 pro(intel atom processor). The flashpro manager software 1.7.0.0 installed on the tablet fine with the drivers but when I plug in the flashpro; I'm getting a check for drivers,and x for flashpro(meaning its not recognized). Also, the USB light on the flashpro is not lit but the power light is.

By the way, my tablet, like most, has a micro USB port instead of USB so I'm using a adapter cable to connect the flashpro. I was under the impression that flashpro worked with windows 8 tablets so how are you guys making yours work? What am I missing?

It sounds like the drivers are not installed. With the FlashPro plugged in open the device manager and see if there is an entry under 'ECU Hardware (Hondata)'. If not, install the USB drivers as per the help file.

If that doesn't work next check that the anti virus software is not deleting something when you run the software.
