Failed Code 0

I recently got a new laptop and it has windows 8 on it. I attempted to download hondata V2.2.7 and after a successful download I attempted to open the program, when I tried to open it "Failed Code 0" popped up, I redownloaded Hondata but this time v2.2.4 and the program opened successfully, when I went to update Hondata back to V2.2.7 it updated successfully but once again showed the "Failed Code 0" upon opening.
Any ideas on what this could be from? any help is appreciated, I am still very new to windows 8.

Uninstall any antivirus software and see if that resolves the issue.

having the same issue and uninstalling my antivirus software was the solution. If that doesn't work for you, you can post here again and I will make some more
suggestions.

I'm nervous to do this for obvious reasons. After success, did you reinstall the antivirus software with no issues?

Use Microsoft Security Essentials. It is free and has no problems.
