iacv delete, idle adjustment because goes up

Post by fugazzyek »

hi guys,

the sunday i installed the rbc itm and also the iacv plate delete, for the idle adjustment i make it with the stop screw...

starts nice without problem, some minutes after when the engine warm up the idle ups to 1800 rpms aprox....

yesterday after work i check the tps and make a calibration but the reading was 97 max and 3.1 min, but when i ajust the tps for min on "0" the max doesnt let me pass over 95.....so make on the other wise, adjust almost for "98" on max and then the min for put it on "0" with the stop screw....

bad choice the engine was so rich, then i make it with the tester reading the voltage on the tps wire and calibrate to 0.5v and put the defaults reading on the kpro.

do you guys have some way how to do it??? i dont want to see my idle ups and also i dont know how to adjust the fuel compensation because the kmanager shows me some some boxes on blue color with "0" values

my fan starts on 185...

thanks for the info and time

Why have you eliminated the Idle controller?

I remove from the intake manifold the iacv exit if i can say it in that way,
And also filled the duct of the iacv, to improve best flow

Why?

Your idle problems are because you have removed the idle controller. I would highly recommend putting it back, as there is no good reason to remove it.
