Data log by gear?

I was wondering if there is an option to datalog based on gear? I want to log only 3rd gear on the street. It's a minor option I know but it would be nice to setup logging to start in 3rd gear under certain conditions.

No, there is no way to do it by gear. You can set it up to start and stop via an input, so you can start and stop it whenever you want.
