Just a question,

I'm sure other individuals would also like to know. With great leaps in technology, and with other tuning systems having it as an option, knock control is lacking with the s300.

Wondering if it is or will be a consideration i n the future?

I have already asked for this . I think the problem is that the architecture of the ecu is old and would be to much trouble to make something work .

I'm most definately not a programmer, or an engineer.

In saying this, would it be possible to use one of the inputs to pick up the knock from a sensor? With software, allow this in the program?

yes the ecu does have the technology to do so but its all a matter of work. im also waiting for knock control on my b18b that don't come with knock control from the factory

Don't hold your breath !

Use a J&s safeguard and datalogg the output into the hondata. Its what i am doing, works great - but obviously you have to outlay the cost.

The s300 is still limited by the factory processing power of the ecu - its very difficult to keep adding extra features.
