K-pro for my K20A

Hi,

I contacted a local Honda dealer about the possibility for a K-Pro equipped ECU.
They could not really find anything without the Chassis number (VIN).

My K20A is from a JDM Type R (DC5) with a PRC - ECU (37820-PRC-013 2070-100570 SD)(it's a swap)

It's got a K-Series Swap Conversion Harness for 96-98 EK Chassis.

From what i've read, if i order, i get a K-pro equipped PRB (Type-S). Is this correct?

Is this what i tell them to order for me? (they order from Belgium, which i believe is "official").

Looking forward to some answers.

The PRC ECU you have can be used with K-Pro. You should be able to get this done by one of our European dealers listed on our website.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I already knew that.

But if there's no downside to ordering an already equipped ECU(like a new(?) PRB), i think it would be the solution i'm going for.

From what i can tell reading on your site, i can use the PRB aswell?

I really want a 2nd ECU just for the K-Pro.

Do i optimally have to get another PRC and then send it to you via the dealer?

A PRB will work as well, there will be no problem.

Hi,

I'm here again with a question.

I've read that the PRB ECU have an immobilizer? How will this work?

Is it disabled by default?

Many thanks!

You can disable this in the software.
