K Pro with Nitrous Oxide

Hey peeps, i hope all is well.

I must apologise if i come across a little dim here, I have just upgraded to kpro and intend to fit the dry kit on saturday. I have a bit of experience with nitrous, although i am finding it a little difficult in figuring out a few points as there is no "idiots guide" on how to fit it. I must apologise for being a pain, but i get this wrong, i could put a hole in a piston!

All questions are for a euro spec Civic type r
Points to answer:-

1.On a Euro civic Type R, which are the best input pins, its a little confusing, as on one of the inputs, RE: the electric power steering input, is already been used......... i fear that if i get it wrong, every time i turn the wheel under %85< throttle, my gas will inject!!

or is this just the 12v feed wire where i take the supply from?

Could you tell me definately, which is the best input to use?

2. Same question for point 1 but with output pins.

3. i already have a relay from last time i had it installed, do i take the input from the K pro and put it into the main power connection on my relay? or where the throttle position sensor point is?

4. same question for point 3 but with output lead, do i replacew it with the ground? Where does it go?

5. Nitrous Arming switch, what do i do with this, where do i connect it up to? i figure that there has to be some way of connecting the master arm to the ecu, otherwise, whenever i go above %85 throttle, the ignition will retard as the ecu will think the nitrous is turned on!

But how do i do it?

6. May i suggest that some sort of wiring diagram is designed...........it would make life all round a lot easier!

7. What values do hondata recommend for horsepower jets / fuel ratio?

Many Thanks

I stand corrected al, connected it all up at the weekend (all day saturday :x ), and have found that pin 16 and pin 21(pins which should be used) are not enabled on the UK ctr. SO ................slightly miffed at the mo.

I would like to know, however, what Hondata are planning to do on this issue, and when it is to be fixed. I own a Nitrous Oxide business, and it is pretty poor show not being able to fit nitrous to my own car. Doesnt exactly fill my customers with confidence.

i spoke to doug at the seminar about this and it seemed to be just a matter of finding the spare pins for the euro ctr -the rsx ones do not transfer across to the ctr ecu

this will be solved shortly i believe and as such is a mere hardware wiring problem

the principle of n20 control thru the hondata software is there in the ecu at the moment

im sure doug and derek will rise to the challenge- after all the euro ctr kpro is only out 6 weeks

Is there any news on when the Euro k pro ECU is gonna be capable of running nitrous yet? i have had the nitrous plumbed in "dry style" since getting the kpro............(was under the impression UK Pro was n20 Enabled) and am strongly considering going back to the wet system i had run previously.

Should i re plumb it? or can we expect nitrous capability for the uk pro any time soon?
