Can someone tell me if its true that hondata makes a s200 box that is already programmed to be OBD1 so you dont have to get a OBD2-OBD1 conversion?

No, but Hondata DOES sell P28 ECU's [OBD-1 circuits] with OBD-2 connectors already on them.

I see, well thanks DaX but what do you think is it better to get? Does that really make it a full OBD1 ecu though?

I don't think you're understanding. The OBD1 P28 ECU they sell has OBD2 connectors on it. It's still 100% OBD1...you just don't have to use a conversion harness in your OBD2 car when you install this ECU...nothing more. You'll still need to get the ECU socketed and purchase the S200 if you are going to run hondata. It's not an either/or thing...
