SManager data conversion bug?

Post by Bubleguy »

Hi,
i was working with protection in order to tune the car safely as explain there :
http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/in ... meters.htm

with "psi" selected in the dropdown and i entered 14 in the textbox.
I decided to switch the dropdown to "inch" (just by curiosity), the textbox got the value -28.9
What? negative value?

-28.9 would be less than column 1 in fuel table...

do I miss something?

What text box? Inches of vacuum normally show as negative to distinguish from psi. They're both bastard units, but people in the US, at least, are familiar with them.

Yeah, in my country we use to select bar or psi.
As I am curious about things that other people use, i tryed "inch".
I was just amazed that a positive psi value was converted to a negative inch value(14psi -> -28.9inch).

Anyway thanks for your feedback, i will continue tu use psi and avoid inch ;)
