Hey whats up guys,

Today I received my ECU back from Hondata.I installed the software and the USB Drivers before putting the ECU in the car. After that I installed the ECU in my car and switched the ignition on to see if my immobilizer light would blink. And it did blink. I turned the ignition off and I was trying to re enable the Immobilizer.I went to Parameters>Misc. It didn't let me change anything, can't do anything.I can't enable it or disable it. So I was trying to figure out what it was. So I turned the ignition back on.There I saw a message on top where the Yellow thunder is saying ECU connected. So I pressed that. Then a message pop out saying "The calibration in the ECU(3.1.6.0) is from an older version of Kmanager. Please Upgrade the ECU calibration before datalogging from this ECU" So I figure that it didnt let me re enable the immobilizer because of this problem which I don't know how to do it. Since this warning came out I didnt touch anything else. I started the car and left it there for a couple minutes running, right after I started the car I opened the hood and smelled something weird.Like something burning, but the smell went away after a minute or less....I need help enabling my immobilizer and upgrading my calibration..Also, did I cause any damage to my engine since I smelled something at the start?

My car is a 04 RSX Type S/K20A2

Is this the original ECU from your vehicle?

You must click on the New calibration button, choose the calibraiotn you want to use, open it, enable the immobilizer in the parameters, then upload the calibration to the ECU.

You may want to read the help file to get a better understanding of how all this works.

Thanks Spunk I appreciate it. I will try this now. I just checked the calibrations and I see theres one which is the completely stock k20a2 calibration & a stock tuned calibration. Also there another one which is toda header, intake, exhaust & stock cams with the 310 injectors...My car has a DC race header, short air intake and exhaust. what do you recommend me? will i be safe running that calibration or just run the stock calibration?

EDIT: A guy told me that I can also try the 3rd calibration on the list which it has ITR Cams, toda header, injen intake, mugen twin loop exhaust. He said there's no big difference between the k20a2 cams and the ITR cams. What would you recommend me the best?

You will have to try them and see which one is best for your specific setup. If you are unsure, you should contact your tuner.
