MY2007 Civic Si 4-door built for World Challenge

Recently my son and I bought this Civic race car to run with NASA and the Honda Challenge series. When we got it home we were going through the FlashPro set up that the previous owner had on the car but we managed to erase those settings by mistake. We've gone through and set new parimeters but ever since this occured we've had various warning lights on the dash light up.... ABS, VSA, check engine, etc. Sometimes the power steering doesn't work until we shut the car off and restart it. Once the car is started the power steering always functions. We clear all the codes and they come right back.

ABS isn't working as we've been able to test this on the street and at the track.

I was wondering if our settings are somehow conflicting with the ECU on the car causing it to toss all these codes? We could have a wiring issue under the hood as well and all of this is just a coincidence.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Eric

Thank you for asking. The serial number is FP-SI-US-13922. Any help and insight would be greatly appreciated.

Since this is a race car it is hard to say what may be going on as wiring may be removed or relocated. I would start by contacting the previous owner to see if they had any of these problems and see if they can send you the calibration that it was previously running. The ECU should not have an effect on these other systems as they have separate controllers.

Thank you very much. Good to confirm that the Hondata device would not be the cause of these other issues. We've reached out to the previous owner and they don't have any notes from their settings. They also claim to not have had these issues but.....

It would appear to be an issue in the engine wiring harness or attachments.
