PRB KPro with Wideband O2- What benefits over PRA narrowband

Hi, I and a few others have installed PRB kpro ecu's into engine swaps in the uk, because they are deemed better than the PRA's.

With these engine swaps we rolling road tune them, and most tuners like to turn off the WB sensor, saying that the maps keep the AFR correct. We go to the expense of buying an wiring these sensors in ourselves, but are we wasting our time?

Some of us run cats and some don't and we get through the emissions tests without a sensor if tuned, or just give the tester a wink.

Can someone tell me / list what are the real benefits of a PRB ecu over a PRA? And why? Are they worth the extra?

If you are disabling the wideband then there is no reason to switch over. You would be much better off keeping your stock ECU and running in closed loop with the narrow band sensor.
