I though flashpro fixed that darn rev hang issue??

Post by Z-Type »

I'm using the civic-si-rrb-5-skunkhdr tune cause its the closest to what I actually have. I actually have an injen CAI/ Megan racing header/ no cat/ Megan racing exhaust. I noticed a substantial difference with the tune and how the car runs. But I still have that revs hang issue. I don't think it actually got any better. I did find in the calibrations tab that "purge evap" is enabled. Do I want to disable that? My buddy that works at Honda says that's why these things hang so bad, cause they purge when you shift. Am I missing something to this? Does anyone have a tune closer to what I have done to my car?

Thans guys

EDIT: I also found this VTEC window RPM and it ranges from 4259RPM - 5900RPM. What does that mean?

Specifics on how the VTEC window works can be found at: http://www.hondata.com/help/flashpro/vt ... htsub=vtec

You can try making adjustments to the fuel overrun cuttoff settings and that should help with the rev hang. It does not have anything to do with evap purge.

Gotcha, thanks a bunch. I'll do some more experimenting.
