PLX SM-AFR Wideband with K Pro

Hi all
Wonder if anyone can help?
At the minute I have a K swapped EG which I built from the ground up myself. After almost a year I've finally bought myself a K Pro. I've loaded a couple of different maps into it to try and on full throttle the car runs great. However, driving around town on part throttle the car can now be very jerky and hesitant.
Now I'm not totally sure and this is all need to me but I think I need to go for a wideband setup like the PLX SM-AFR? This can run in closed loop for narrowband fuel trimming and wideband for tuning right?
Or I could be completely off here and be talking absolute rubbish? If so do people have any suggestions on how to making my car smoother and not jerky in the lower RPM?
My mods are as follows:
K20A2 (UK spec)
DC5 Gearbox
Hybrid Racing Header with 3" collector
Full 3" exhaust
RBC Intake manifold with Hondata inlet gasket
K-Tuned 3" Velocity Stack intake
Walbroo 255LPH fuel pump
K Pro in a PRA (UK Spec) ecu
And that's about it I think. I've set the fuel pressure to 50 psi on idle and I've wired the primary o2 sensor in (which I think is working correctly)?
