TSX TB Issues

Post by ryno_rx8 »

I recently got an 07 TSX tb for my car (09 Si) and no matter what I try, i can not get the idle learn procedure to work. I still the get the fluctuation from 1000-1500, I have Flashpro now and my question is, will i still need to do the relearn or will the FP override that since it has setting for idle? Thanks. I tried searching and found no definite answer

Make sure that there is no vacuum leak, if the problem is mechanical and not tuning related then the FlashPro will not help.

I double checked for vacuum leaks and didn't notice any. Only thing I can think of is when I do the idle learn, I was letting off from the 3000 when the fans first kicked on, gonna do it again and let them cycle on and off before I let it idle. Also, what do you adjust in FP to fix the rev hang issue?

Go back one step. Is the TSX throttle body equivalent electrically and mechanically to the Si throttle body?

To the best of my knowledge it is equal with the exception of being 4-5mm larger. Plenty of people are running them, some have to ddo the idle learn, some get by without it somehow.
