AFR Logging newbie question

A very stupid question. When logging the AFR, does the Flashpro need the wideband sensor installed for the tune? Or the Flashpro read the narrow band signal from the Stock ECU though the OBD II Plug?
As normally i tune with the Apex PFC and Wideband Sensor is needed for the tune. Thanks a lot for this stupid question.
