Speed adjustment (ECU)(RO)

Post by nurv2600 »

So, I've read the help, and it's pretty clear what "speed adjust (ECU)" does and what "speed adjust (dash)" does. However, is "speed adjust (ECU)(RO)" the same as adjusting ECU speed? I have the 2012 Civic Si, and am planning on getting bigger tires, but want to make sure that not only is the dash speed correct, but the ECU speed as well, so ABS/VSA/odo/etc still work fine. When I was looking at a table of supported features for each vehicle, Hondata's website seems to indicate that NEITHER ECU or dash speed changes are supported. So, what is it? Can I put larger tires on, and adjust accordingly without worry?

"speed adjust (ECU)(RO)" should not be visible on the 2012 (it does not do anything). It will be removed.

Only for vehicles where the ECU translates the speed from the sensor sensor (only the 06 Si) will the ECU be able to compensate for gear ratios / tires sizes etc.
