hey guys
there are some posts claiming that the id 1000cc dead times are incorrect. does anyone have the real numbers?
also, can anyone tell me the offsets of the rc 750cc high-z ?
thanks
what are the real ID 1000cc offsets? and also rc750 :)
Re: what are the real ID 1000cc offsets? and also rc750 :)
Using the supplied dead time sheet, I had started by using the 43.5 psi row, but was having serious issues with idle, etc.
I saw the that generic calibration supplied by Hondata used numbers closer to the 60 psi row, and then realized that I should have used the fuel injector pressure differential. (I think)
At WOT (NA setup) there should be about 0 psi at the tip of the injector and ~64 psi at the top; a differential of 64 psi.
At idle there is about 11 psi of vacuum at the tip of the injector and about 44 psi at the top; a differential of 55 psi.
These figures are for my return-less 06 S2000.
It seems the dead times given by ID are too short.

Update: It seems that ID's numbers are closer than I had thought, but I think I'm having issues with the injectors heating up and causing the dead times to increase. It's time to thermally insulate the intake manifold and see if I can get them to behave.

try this ..at 65 psi fuel pressure.
volts 0,00 8,09 10,11 12,13 14,16 16,08 24,55
dead time 1,49 3,50 2,60 1,72 1,50 1,20 0,35
