Ethanol Content Analyzer

Post by aceman187443 »

under the flex fuel tab i would like to use the s300 option to read a ethanol content analyzer. has anyone had much success using this option? i was wondering if there was any company that does make a ethanol content analyzer that is high quality and recommended to work well with the smanager and hondata s300 setup? i am having trouble finding a unit to do this. thank you.

I don't see anywhere the results of anyone accually using the analizer setup. Anyone who used it out there on there s300 setup? the results would be great! I was wondering with it connected did it need to be sent to a dyno, did the voltage need offset to maintain a safe Afr need adjusted, does a mixed tank of e85 and pump gas work out fine, things of this nature. Any of the results of how it worked out for you on your car would be great!

its pretty simple really....

hook it up in your return line
wire it up to ecu
enable it in smanager and select the input you wired it to
be sure you have a well tuned map using non ethanol(or as low ethanol content as possible) fuel
make SURE you have injectors that can spray 35% more fuel than the HP range you want to be in

once you've done all that you can put ethanol in your tank and it should run like a champ

great this is what i will do then. i swapped injectors for ID 1000cc so i should be good. anyone else had good results using one of these. i understand the hookup procedure but did it actually work like it should in real life scenario? no lean or rich or jumping all over. what were the end results are you still using it? thanks appreciate the help!!
