Car: EG9 w/ B18C6 swap

I just bought a P28 with the S300 installed. When I plug the cable into the ECU and the pc, nothing happens. I installed the Smanager, and i says that I need to install the USB driver. But I cant install the driver since my PC cant find the ECU. I have set the key into Ignition, but nothing happens. My CEL is always on.

Im able to start the engine on my stock P30 ECU. But when I try to connect my P28S300, nothing happens. My pc doesnt find any new hardware.

What am I doing wrong ?

What is the serial number on the s300 board inside the ECU?

The serial on the S300 is: 22755

From Help, About, what is the version of software that you are using?

With the Windows device manager open, does the window refresh when you unplug and plug in the USB cable with the ignition switched turned on?

Im running the current version: 2.1.5.0

Nothing happens in the windows device manager when I try to connect the ECU. I did this with ignition (key turned to II)

I even tried this on a EE8 with OBD0 -> OBD1 harness, and still noting happens when I connect the USB cable into the ECU.

Im able to start the engine with my stock P30 ECU.

Do any lights come on in the s300 when you turn the key to the on position?

No, nothing happens. No lights.

It sounds like either the ECU is bad and is not powering up, or the s300 is not on the pins correctly and that is why no lights are coming on and the USB is not being detected.
