car bucking/surging (idk) randomly while driving

Post by jengmech »

Car randomly bucks/surges while driving. datalogged and tps, ignition, and inj are all over the place. at the time my a/f sensor was out but i have since replaced and it's better but it still bucks and i have yet to datalog anymore because laptop is on life support aka the battery won't charge so i have to keep it plugged up. I don't know why the car is doing what it's doing. some1 please help me out. only cel at the time was the o2 sensor. no cel's now.

List of mods: ported rbc, hybrid racing 70mm tb, plm ram horn header, rdx injectors, hybrid racing 3" cai, 3" custom exhaust

Running stock ignition map and tuned the fuel map for the listed mods

still was all i was able to get one morning on my drive to work.

thanks for any help.

It's hard to tell without and lambda information. Do you have a datalog with the o2 sensor functional?

Then use the built in datalogging memory of the KPro.

Either the o2 sensor is not working or the car is running very lean. It does seem to work at times.

So is that why my ignition is going crazy from time to time? Only thing I can think to do is check wires for continuity that go to the o2 sensor. Any suggestions outside of that?
