Useful starting point. I was able to dial my injector dead time by doing the following:
1.) start with a stock calibration (no modifications to any corrections, fuel tables, timing tables)
2.) enter injector size
3.) put the ecu in closed loop
4.) get the motor started using the dead time settings in the link above
5.) get the engine warmed up to normal temp
6.) tweak dead time settings until you get close to zero STFT
7.) turn the lights on, blower on high and watch your AFR and trims to make sure they stay where you want them
8.) keep all accessories on and wait until rad fan kicks on and again watch trims. If the car stalls you'll have to tweak the dead time settings in that voltage cell.
9.) you may need to add fuel to the ultra low load, low rpm cells but as a last resort IMHO.
10.) drive around to see if the car behaves, i.e. no stalling.
11.) tune
Disclaimer: this may be totally wrong, but works for me.. use at your own risk.
your charging system and battery must be functioning like OEM, otherwise you'll be chasing your tail
