Nitrous Control questions.

Im using S300 on my Nitrous Car. Everything works amazing thus far. Pulling 3 degrees of timing on the kit from activation to deactivation. The car makes close almost 300whp on my current setup. Having some traction issues on my little 22x8s. I know 24.5's would probably be more beneficial for my hp level. But was wondering if I could use the hondata to pull additional timinng and ramp it back in over a period of rpm or time. This would be similar use like a MSD 7530 or 7531 ignition box. I think pulling the additional timing and ramping it back in will solve my traction issues.

You can control the amount of timing retard or advance vs. RPM in the fuel and ignition tab of the nitros parameters. You may want to consider the Hondata Traction Control as well:

Whats the maximium amount of retard the distributor will allow? No track times yet due to all of our local tracks being closed for winter. Hopefully they'll start opening up mid February. We've ran a couple car on the street from a dig that run anyway from 7.7x-7.2x. We figure the car will go .5's or .4's. But track time will tell. 1950 wet without driver.

The maximum you can retard is -4 degrees beyond TDC
