something im missing, connection?

ok so i got the s300 in, i registered the s300, i uploaded a base map (car starts now), now evertime i try to connect, in the botom left corner it says: online, driver installed (when i turn ingition to on). the gauge display is not working, the s300 tab says "s300" only nothing else below it, and i can not make any changes. is the something i am overlooking somewhere?

The gauge will only show data if you are datalogging. It does not automatically datalog just by plugging in the USB. What happens when you upload a calibration? You must have a calibration loaded in the software in order to make changes.

What is the serial number of the s300 that is on the s300 board inside the ECU?

this is really strange but i had to open the registration stuff again and hit the register button, my info already in it. ill post the serial number as soon as i take the ecu again, probability tomorrow. making a lexan cover for ecu. really strange but when i registered 2nd time everything worked perfect maybe i lost internet connection while uploading the info, i had to get a long usb and put laptop by the big open garage door to get the slightest wifi signal. love the software compared to aem/fic its awesome!

Spunkster I am still having problems. I've got it to upload one time and datalog one time. Now I can't do much of anything. When I hit the s300 tab a lot of the time it pops up and says everything is good as far a registration, software, ect. Then othertimes it does not say anything but s300. Even when it says things are all good below the s300 tab, I still cannot upload.it always says on line when I switch on key. When i hit the arrow pointing up or use the online tab then hit upload nothing happens, it just clicks the button without a upload. Under display never works even when online and datalogging. I am using software version 2.1.5.0 my serial on the s300 board (reflective sticker) says s300 / 22423. I need a quick fix! Thanks in advance.

Download the most recent beta version of software from the downloads section of the website and see if that resolves any of the issues.

OK i tried it and it downloads, then while I'm installing it on my PC it says error code 5... so I abort the download unless you want me to skip the file and continue the download?

What is the exact error message you are receiving?

I kept on trying it now I got the the download to install and hooked to the car and now it seems like it is working again. Is it common people have to use the beta version? What is the real differences between the two versions?

The beta version is what should be used as it is the most up to date and is there to fix bugs.

Ok so i swapped ecus because i was having this problem. I had a p06 ecu i swapped for a p75. I still have the same problem. Im on-line but no upload. I dont understand what is wrong here.?? Help please! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPuEK33 ... ata_player

It worked one time p06. Now it also worked one time on the p75. It usually connects (on-line) but then i get kicked like im not registered but still on line with the ecu. I cant upload or datalog. The ecu swap was the only change and this why i changed it. Both ecus bench test good and start the car but it goes lean once it starts to warm up due to not being able to tune via upload. Is there a way to make real-time changes without actually uploading?

So it worked when you used the beta version of software with the old ECU, but now that you swapped it to a different ECU it has stopped working?

No it worked one time with the beta version on each ecu. Now every time i try its like the video. anyideas on why i am experiencing this problem?

On the same line that the New calibration button is located, you need to click the upload arrow.
