Is it okay to switch from high to low boost at the top of 3rd gear?

In third, boost will switch from 25psi to 15psi at about 8400rpm.
normally ill shift at 8200 rpm. If i mistakenly shifted at 8600, would it be dangerous?

You cannot expect it to drop 10psi in a few hundred RPM once it is already spooled up.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was just thinking that this morning. Just never tested it.
