Hay there,

Serial # K-pro: 05001983
37820-pnf-A03
3.1.2
see file attached
Vehicle: A DC2 w/K20a swap
Mods: 12.5:1 pistons, Drag Cartel 2.2 cams, blueprint rods, rbc intake mani, stock wiring harness(brand new)
Problem: Cam is not following Cam command input. Cam stays at 0 to -4 and fluctuates rapidly.
Got the kpro when I purchased the engine last year in Oceanside Ca.

Went to churchs tuning and was told the cam was not following the camcmd. Cam would not advance.
Now, I've changed the vtc actuator, the Vtc Cam gear, oil pressure great, changed cam sensors, checked the cam triggers and have a brand new engine wire harness.

Have you tried the ECU on a known working vehicle?

Yes, I have tried it on my friends o6 Rsx and it seemed to have worked but it did give a vtc malfunction error. When I use his kpro in my car it does the same mine is doing. Thanks again

You will have to try this in a 02-04 RSX or a 02-05 Civic SI. The 05-06 RSX is different and will not help with this for testing.

I looked through your updates for k manager and I see there was a fix for this.

V3.1.2 (6 July 2012)
• Fixed PNF VTC not working.

Any chance mine did not update?

Download the most recent beta version of software before doing enythign else, and then test in a known working vehicle.
