tuning Vss

Post by rev_rage »

when I installed larger wheels the Vss speed displays different then the actual speed of the car. Is there a way to tune this out on the Vss(mph) guage properties in the s300

Does this change what the gage cluster on the dash board reads?
H22 GT3076R E85, EK Hatch, Dyno Shootout Car...
603 WHP, 565 WHP, 631 WHP, 596 WHP, 600 WHP, 610 WHP, 631 WHP, 560 WHP, 578 WHP
different dynos, different days, different altitudes, same set-up, bottom line...~600ish WHP come get some!!!

No, the dash gets its speed directly from the speed sensor and so cannot be changed by the ECU.

Is there a way to edit this vss % and splice into gauge cluster. i.e. changing type r cluster reading Km/hr to mp/h 1 Kilometer per Hour = 0.62 Mp/Hr.

so is this how you adjust the speed the data log shows in the graph verses the trap speed measured on the time slip? if so do i do a plus percentage to get it to match. i know when i cross the line its always been around 10 mph off or something like that.

This is to adjust the speed calculated by the ECU for datalogging.
