Alright, here it goes. I picked up this car about 4 months ago and was having issue starting when engine is cold. it takes 4-5 cranks to start it. cranking fuel was set at 15% post @ -40%. bump cranking fuel to 20, 25,30, then 40. still doing same thing.
replaced plugs(ngk gap @ .030), fuel filter, check pump, main relay, change different dizzy, install msd coil and box.

i was told that 880cc injectors were in car but forgot what brand. i looked on s300, it was set as 800cc. for some reason i always thought that the injectors were high resistance injectors because i did not any resistors or a coil box. i thought it might be a faulty/leaking injector because one of the injector is always wet. if you look at the injector clip where the 2 wires go in, it's wet in there. however, there's no fuel on the intake manifold itself.

i put some rc 310cc injectors in and see if that would solve the problem. it still takes 3-4 cranks before it start. it idles kind of low and the car wants to die, so i bump up the idle to 1000 rpm. it ran fine so i took it for a drive around the block and shut it off. next day, after 5 cranks it starts up but dies withing 5-6 sec. after a couple more tries, i put the 880cc back in.

ok, now to my problem. i've been having datalogging issue after that. it'll runs for 5-10 secs then stop. unplug and replug cord and same thing. sometimes, the led light stays green, sometimes red. i'm still able to upload and download calibrations.
i think it might fried something in the ecu when i put the 310s in. i just changed the injectors size to 310s and nothing else because i figured they're both high resistance injectors. i found out that the 880cc were low resistance after doing some research.

i'm not sure what ecu it is cause the label is missing and i haven't take it apart yet.
sorry for the long post. want to get as much info as possible so you guys could help me out figure what's going on.

thanks

Make sure you are running resistor spark plugs. If you have low impedance injectors without a resistor box then you will damage or may have already damaged the ECU. You must use a resistor box with low impedance injectors.

Has this been tuned on the dyno?

yes, the plugs are resistor type. they're ngk, 2 heat range colder. can't remember the exact part #.
the car was last dyno tuned about 2.5 years ago. i'm surprised that the car ran fine this long with the low res injectors. it still runs fine, minus the data logging thing. i'm just not sure if this was caused by the low res injectors or the high res injectors being not correctly calibrated when installed.
