when the car is idling in closed loop is the fuel being injected and the timing settings based on the calibration loaded or is it a different map?
i'm getting misfire codes (all cylinders) and the engine shakes slightly, it also has an intermittant "thump" through the exhaust.

It uses the standard tables plus the long term O2 corection and constanty adjsuts based on the short term O2 calculations.

So after some period of time at the same RPM in closed loop your fueling should be fine. Make sure your maps are very close to perfect around the idle area. Otherwise your long term O2 correction will get out of hand and affect the rest of the map even when in open loop.

You can play with the timing and idle rpm to see if you can fix the misfire. Make sure your plugs aren't foweled too.
