Kpro not powering up

Post by 3k1n »

So I have a 99 Hatch with a k24 kpro'ed. The car has been running fine for a couple of months. Last night took the car for a spin, parked it, popped on the fuel cut kill switch. When I came back I turned off the fuel cut and noticed the fuel pump was not priming when I turned the key one click before turning the car on, and then noticed the CEL was not lighting up, which meant the ECU was not getting any power. First thing I did was check all the Engine grounds and they were fine. Checked the 3 relevant fuses, and they were fine. Checked the wiring on the ECU to see if any of the wires came off the pins and they appear to be fine.
Could the kill switch have possibly short circuited something? Possibly the ECU? Anyone have any suggestions as to what else I should be looking into?

Try the ECU in a known working vehicle to see if it is the ECU or something isolated to jsut your vehicle.
