A/F readings

Post by RedSunS2k »

Hi,

I have a 2001 AP1 S2000 with the latest K-Pro installed. I have a Innvote LC1 wideband/gauge installed. The ELD wire has been cut and spliced to the LC1 going into the K-Pro ECU.

For some reason the A/F reading on the K-Manager is reading 0 during WOTs and crusing speeds. The only time the A/F reads something is when I let off the gas pedal.

Is there interference with the LC1?

Also how do I know what the voltage offset for the LC1 is? And how will I know if the LC1 reading is accurate?

Thanks.

The wideband manufacturer should provide the calibration information.

I'll try to give as much detail as possible.

KPro Hardware V3.

I don't have any of the serial number or ECU number. It's does not appear to be visible unless I pull out the ECU. I paid someone to install it for me and I don't feel comfortable pulling it out.

Kmanager Software - 3.2.0
My car is 2001 S2000 AP1, Comptech Supercharger, basic bolt on mods. Innovate LC1 Wideband + A/F Ratio Gauge.

K-Pro purchased in Summer 2012. It was purchased through Evans Tuning.

Problem:
When I am doing a live datalog recording the A/F constantly shows 0(On K-Manager). When I replay a recorded datalog, it constantly shows 14.7? Is there a setting that must be changed since the wideband is connected to the ELD?

Go to Options, settings, Wideband Input and make sure you have it set correctly there for your wideband.

Does anyone have the conversion table (or diy) for the LC-1? I looked through the users manual and the innovate website couldn't find the values.

You will need to contact the manufacturer of the wideband for the calibration info.

Ok, so I called Innovate's tech support and they said the LC-1 has no voltage conversion table as it is linear.

He just gave me the info:

0v - 7.35
5v - 22.39

Do I still put these numbers here? How about the offset?

He gave you the voltage conversion table. Enter that, then adjust the offset until it reads the same in our software and from the wideband software or gauge.

Do I start with increments of 1v? I don't want to damage the wideband or ECU.
