ECU wont upload or erase

Ive tried to upload a built in base calibration onto the ecu but when i hit upload it pops up a status bar like three times then says error uploading please try uploading again, i then tried erasing the ecu and sat there for like 10 minutes while the status bar went left to right then when it finished it said ecu not erased.....any help would be greatly greatly appreciated

light stays red
cant upload calibration tried erasing ecu and it went all the way through the process then said ecu was not erased
believe ecu was purchased from hondata has hondata bar code on side of ecu

i figured i probably have a socketing issue so i went through the socketing procedure on the website and found that whoever socketed the ecu had left the resistor in J12, any chance this is what was causing me to not get a green light or be able to upload to the ecu?

Have you tried removing J12?

yep i just removed it gonna go home on lunch break and try to upload a calibration

so i removed the J12 resistor and tried uploading and erasing the ecu again and it still will not work, i pulled the top cover off the ecu and the red light next to the usb connection stays lit the entire time, the green liight next to it blinks when im trying to erase the ecu, when i try uploading it still says upload failed please try uploading again, any ideas?

i have the exact same problem. my previous ecu wasnt working and I bought a new one. but now the new p28 i bought isnt working. mind if i shoot an email as well?
