Braking sensor?

Post by mjs454 »

Hello All!

I just bought a FlashPro for my 07 Civic Si (US). I'm definitely enjoying it so far, but I am wondering why the data logging doesn't seem to show all the sensors that I think the car uses. For example, braking, steering position, yaw... All likely measured and used for the traction control. Braking especially would be incredibly useful for analyzing driving at track events.

Is there a way to add these sensors to the datalogs?

Thanks!
Mike

The ECU does not use these sensor and does not have access to them.

Is the signal available over the OB-II bus or are only ECU signals available? As an engineer, it seems odd that the traction control computer would be kept off the OB-II bus for diagnostics or firmware upgrades. If it is on the bus, I see no reason why those signals would be inaccessible.
