ok Iam trying to find answers and will post hoping it helps..
I have a 99 hatch with a B18C1 (gsr) engine with the stock intake manifold..what do I do about the secondary runners?? is there away to hook them up or do I need to change to a skunk2 manifold or get a obd1 P72 ecu?? I would like to keep the stock manifold so I can run a gsr nos setup but dont want to lose the 10+ horse from not having them work.
Thanks,David

You need a P72 ECU to control the secondary intake runners on a B18C1. No other Honda ECU has the right circuitry to handle it.

IMHO it is not worth crap to get the runners working. GET THE SKUNK 2 INTAKE. You will NOT be dissappointed, esp w/ CAI and headers.

you can always just have an external rpm switch to activate the runners, no big deal. way cheaper than getting a p72 and having to resolder and ect.

I've heard of this being done too. Can you elaborate on installing an rpm switch to activate the runners? I know you can use an MSD rpm switch, but I'm clueless on how you would install it...By the way I'm in the same position w/ a b18c1 and p28 ecu with an s200 system. Thanks.
