s200b problems and questions

i got my s200 installed and i got another base map for it. 880's, 3bar, stock intake mani, and turbo kit. the car runs for a few seconds and then slowly starts to fall on it's face and then dies. everytime i turn the motor on it runs perfect and idle for a few seconds and then dies.

first question is, do you have to have the o2 sensor installed in the exhaust for your car to idle and run?
how do you test a 3bar map sensor's voltage on a 00 si? the instructions that came with the 3bar said aomething like, from a-b on a stock map sensor is 1.6v and a 3bar across a-b is lke 2.8. across a-b on my car is 4.8 to 5v on either map sensor.

my bad, i got the voltages switched. stock is 2.8 and 3bar is 1.6
