fuel cut off problem help!

I just got a s200 system installed in my 99 si. Sometimes when I switch from 1st to 2nd gear and i am really on the gas it will cut the fuel on me. The check engine light comes on and the fuel is cut. If I let off the gas the light goes off and I can hit the gas again. This is really annoying. Has anyone else had this problem. My dealer is working with me on it but he has never seen this before. Anyone have any suggestions?

im having the exact same problem as you with my 98 Ls could you let me know if you find out what the problem is?

I found out it was the map sensor on top my air intake. It had a bad connection so everytime I hit the gas hard enough the torque would cause the engine to shake and some wires in the sensor would cross. I had a place put on a new sensor for 30$ and re-connect the wires. Everyting works great now. Good luck
