I'm new to the whole Ecu swapping and tuning. I have an 06 rsx type s, just bought a used but official kpro Ecu for my car that came with the 05-06 harness and the o2 sensor that is needed. I am wondering if there is anything I would have to change or do before installing the Ecu in my car. Don't want to install it and blow up my engine. My engine is the k20Z1 engine. Mods are K&N Typhoon air charger intake system(short ram), dc sports shorty header, skunk2 racing mega power catback exhaust system. Please if I can be told the steps I should take when installing the Ecu and what I should set or calibrate it at. Or if I'm better off paying for it to be professionally installed and tuned at no limit motorsports. Any info will help. Thanks

Also if there is certain parts I need to change or upgrade before installing Kpro.the previous owner of my car had Kpro installed but took it out when he traded the car in to the dealer I bought it from..

I'd recommend a cold air intake. The short ram intakes can make less power than the stock intake, and increase the air intake temperature a lot. A cold air intake gives a good bang for the buck.

I shouldn't have to change the injectors or anything right. Was going to slowly put my own turbo system together but I really want to.get the full race turbo but I have to get the money up for it. I'm getting it tuned for what I have before I install it which is gonna run me 500 bucks...but just making sure I don't need to.change anything else..I have a vis racing carbon fiber hood evo style which has a huge vent with grill on top which keeps engine.bay cool so the short ram.should be ok...looking to getting a.cai for this car soon
