lc1 with db gauge into s300 issues

good day, i've tried hooking up my lc1 to my s300 and there seem to be a problem with the af in my db gauge. btw, this is how i hooked up mine, brown (analog 2) this is your wideband signal, connect to D10 (ELD) on your ecu , yellow (analog 1) this is your narrowband signal, connect to D14 (O2 signal) . when i tried running the car the afr seems to be a bit high but when i tried removing the brown wire which is connected to D10 the afr goes back to minus 1 compared with the connected brown wire. what seems to be the problem?thanks.
