Quick Spool operation

Post by portmaster »

On the QuickSpool option in FlashPro it says MAP(bar) so I set my 4th gear Quick spool table to 1.2 which I believe to be about 17psi ?

So I do a pull and my boost control duty lookup goes up to 99% until approx. 2psi of boost then returns to the 28% boost control duty lookup which is what I have it set to.

I thought it was supposed to quick spool until it reaches 1.2bar? I have not tried to enter 18 to see but is this actually PSI not bar?

Thanks

1.1bar is 2psi when measured from absolute.

Ok, so to get 18psi of boost I need to set it to 2.22bar

18psi + 14.7psi/14.7psi=2.22bar ???? Close enough? Or totally wrong?

Worked Perfectly! 20psi@4600rpm JB turbo

Maybe this will help someone else unless I am the only one that didnt know HEHE :)

T - Target Boost
B - Bar value

(T+14.7)/14.7=B

(B*14.7)-14.7=T

Example if you know your target boost level
Target Boost 18psi
(18+14.7)/14.7=2.22Bar

Example if you know your bar value
2.22Bar
(2.22*14.7)-14.7=17.934psi
