SManager Not going online , shaded grey online tab

i've got a 98ex with a b16a2 obd2 to obd1 going to a p28 with s300. Both green lights are on when i turn ignition on , drivers are downloaded and updated . The car will not start with this ecu because of previous basemap with different injectors. Now when i try and uoload a basemap to ecu it is impossible .. the online tab is completly grey and says offline at bottom left . what could the problem be ?? the jumper harness ??

What is the serial number of the s300 board inside the ECU?
