Need help!

After so I called Brian @ prospeed back up, he said i needed to get the engines error code to see if its fixable. The only thing is I cant afford anything right now. He said that the ecu might have been fried, i'm not sure what does that mean. My car cant start at all, and i'm out of ideals, help! What should I do. Can I send the ecu in to you guys, or should I take it into the dealer? Help asap.
