Burn component FB4

Hi,
my hondata burn after connecting another USD device to my laptop. Burn component is in FB4 location. Can you provide exact type and value of this component that I could replace it?

The component is a ferrite bead (hence FB). You can replace it with another ferrite bead or a jumper.

However, the fact that this component has burnt out indicates that a lot of current has gone through the USB ground. Typically other components on the KPro and/or ECU have been damaged, so often replacing the component will not fix the KPro/ECU.

Actually, after placing k100 board into affected ecu, engine is starting fine without any errors and its running fine too

Thanks for replay, but can you proide also exact value of this FB?


After diconnecting USB port, looks like outside usb housing could make a burn?

Any ferrite bead with a resistance of less than a couple of ohms will work.
