We do not cover the natural gas Civic R18.

Why isn't the CNG R18 covered? Is it just because you don't have any maps? If so, can I send you my ECU so that you can create a set of base maps? If Hondata needs to be reimbursed for pulling the data and creating the maps, please PM/email me the price. I'd invest a reasonable amount to have this done.
I realize that the CNG R18's are rare but now that Honda has ramped up production over the years, they are now starting to become widely available for reasonable prices. There are going to be people that want to boost/tune them. Myself included. Heck, with 120 octane fuel, it's just screaming for forced induction. And at only $2 a gallon!
BTW, I resurrected this thread because it's the first thing that comes up when you Google Hondata CNG R18.
Thanks,
Ben

Unfortunately we can't do every Honda model - there is not enough demand. I don't think, given your offer, you are in the ball park of how much it costs to make a FlashPro for a vehicle.

Thanks for the reply. Let me know what the ballpark is. $1k? $5k? $10k? More? If I can't afford it myself, maybe I can get a group buy together to make it work.
Considering that the production run for the GX is only currently 4k a year, I'm guessing that there's only one ECU code to deal with but I'll see if I can verify that info on the forums.
Thanks again for your time and for any information.
Ben

The development cost is much more than your estimates. Sorry.

Oh well, it was worth a shot. Thanks anyway.
